Finance web design

Finance website project

Better Finances, founded by Heather Holden, a former university professor, short listed astronaut, and investment portfolio manager, offers an online inheritance course aimed at providing clarity and peace of mind to those who have received an inheritance or financial windfall.

Heather was seeking a website and visual identity that would effectively communicate the value of their online course, reflecting Heather's expertise and the support she provides to her clients.

Web design and content structure

The website's layout was designed to prioritize ease of navigation, ensuring visitors could quickly access relevant information about the course and Heather's background. A minimalist and elegant web design, along with a simple colour palette and typography were used to reinforce the professional nature of Better Finances while maintaining a welcoming and approachable tone.

To highlight Heather's expertise, testimonials and a dedicated section outlining her professional experience were incorporated into the design. This approach helped establish trust and credibility with potential clients, demonstrating the value of her services. Clear calls-to-action were strategically placed throughout the website, encouraging visitors to enroll in the course or reach out for more information.

Finally, the website was fully responsive and user-friendly, allowing visitors to browse and access the content with ease on various devices.

Being a former university professor, Heather is an excellent educator with wealth of content, including a blog and downloadable resources, which needed to be organized, optimized, and presented in a user-friendly manner.

Content was optimized by working closely with Heather to ensure it was engaging, informative, and reader-friendly. Appropriate headings, subheadings, and bullet points to break up large blocks of text were used, making the content more digestible and appealing to visitors.

Downloadable resources were created with consistent branding to deliver a cohesive user experience.
