playful retro squarespace website designed for a podcast host and author featuring colourful, retro y2k elements

Playful, Retro Squarespace Website.

Emily Durham is a career coach, content creator, podcast host, and author with over 3 million social media followers. The goal was to unify her coaching, speaking, content, podcast, and debut book Clock In into a single cohesive digital home that resonates with her audience of millennial and Gen Z women.

The site was strategically built to surface key pages, with intentional inward paths and calls to action that guide visitors toward the right offer, whether arriving from social media, search, or press.

A playful, retro, and unapologetically bold aesthetic runs throughout, with a colour palette drawing from mid-century hues while planted in the present, incorporating elements like Y2K glitter stickers, notebooks, and polaroids to give it a tangible, tactile feel.

A blog was also built to support ongoing content efforts, with on-page SEO implemented throughout and FAQ sections structured for AI search visibility.

The project was featured on Site of Sites and recognized as a finalist in DesignRush's May 2026 Design Awards.
