Veterinary Clinic Website.

Kyla came looking for a Squarespace designer to help her launch her veterinary clinic, a first-of-its-kind social enterprise rooted in Strathcona, Vancouver, built on the belief that quality, compassionate care should be accessible to everyone, regardless of circumstance.

The site needed to feel as warm and community-driven as the clinic itself. A soft lavender shade was introduced as the anchor of the palette, playful and inviting, immediately setting the clinic apart from the sterile, predictable aesthetic that defines so much of veterinary web design, while still maintaining the clean, structured layout that builds trust and communicates expertise.

The clinic's mission and story weren't saved for an About page. They were woven into every section, from the hero copy to the pricing table, reinforcing that this isn't just a vet clinic, but a clinic with a cause. The social enterprise model is introduced early and carried through the site.

Organic, playful shapes were woven throughout to soften the site's structure and echo the approachable, non-judgmental spirit of the clinic. Photography with a film-like quality was chosen deliberately to capture the lived-in, neighbourhood feel of Strathcona, that coexistence of urban grit and genuine loveliness that makes the area feel like a hidden gem. Rather than polished stock imagery, the visual direction leans into something that feels real, local, and human.
